Google Chrome Hit in a New Mysterious Zero-Day Attack

Google has recently shipped another urgent security patch for its Chrome browser while warning that threat actors are exploiting one of the zero-days in active cyber-attacks.

So far, this is the fourth in-the-wild Chrome zero-day exposed in 2021 and the continued absence of IOC data. Besides, it has no meaningful information about the threats which continued to raise criticality among security experts.

The latest Chrome update, 90.0.4430.85, is available for Mac, Linux, and Windows users. It is being launched via the automatic update mechanism of the browser.

As per the Google Chrome advisory, the update patches at different security vulnerabilities – however, the company only provided one-line documentation and CVE IDs for the bugs.
