ID.me Raises _100 Million in Series C Funding

ID.me Inc., the digital identity network provider, has recently joined the growing list of cyber-security sector – after securing a $100 million funding round. With this, the valuation of the company becomes $1.5 billion.

Viking Global Investors led the Series C round along with Counterpoint Global (Morgan Stanley), BoxGroup, CapitalG, Lead Edge Capital, PSP Growth, WndrCo, Willoughby Capital, and Moonshots Capital. 

ID.me aims to use the funding to develop its secure digital identity network by employing top talent. Besides, it is expanding the number of government agencies and businesses it serves by helping with authentication, identity proofing, and group affiliation verification.
