Kerberos authentication bug being fixed by Microsoft

The Windows 10 patch may have caused authentication issues on the non-Windows and Windows business devices. Microsoft said that they are working to patch the bug in the latest software update. It is a bypass liability in the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC) security capability. The bug has been flagged as CVE-2020-17049. It is a part of the 112 liabilities handled in the updates of November 2020 Patch Tuesday.

Kerberos is the client-server authentication tool used in multiple OSs. Microsoft has attempted to fix and circumvent it in the Kerberos KDC, the feature that allows the handling of tickets for data encryption between server and client.
