SoftBank Corp. Announces the Successful Deployment AQtive Guard to Undetected Security Vulnerabilities in Existing IT Infrastructure

SandboxAQ has announced that SoftBank, the telecommunications giant, has successfully deployed the AQtive Guard cryptography management platform that SandboxAQ’s Advanced Research Group developed.

The platform was tested extensively to discover cryptographic and certificate-based vulnerabilities to AI-based and quantum computer-based cyber attacks against IT systems, including networks, endpoints, and applications.

To validate the platform’s efficacy, SoftBank used AQtive Guard to monitor a local government network for potential cryptographic vulnerabilities.

The platform discovered several government servers using non-recommended encryption or sending unencrypted traffic. Furthermore, it detected several vulnerable certificates that required updates.
