SonicWall acquires Banyan Security For ZTNA Technology

Vendor of network security appliances SonicWall announced that it has acquired San Francisco-based startup Banyan Security, expanding its product line with zero-trust network access technology.

With two funding rounds totaling USD 47 million, Banyan Security has developed technology to assist organizations in securely connecting users to resources, applications, and infrastructure. The company’s main offering claims to shield corporate defenders from hacker attacks.

It enables them to continuously assess and react to threats in real time across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments. The statement comes after SonicWall purchased managed service security provider Solutions Granted.
