StackRox, the Container and Kubernetes threat detection startup bags $26.5M

To continue its geographic expansion and support R&D, StackRox Inc. announced it has successfully raised $26.5 million in the latest funding. Menlo Ventures alongside Highland Capital Partners, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., Sequoia Capital, and Redpoint Ventures led the round. To further strengthen the deal, Venky Ganesan, Menlo Ventures partner, has joined the StackRox board.

StackRox’s cloud-based platform offers continuous advanced threat detection for cloud-native applications, containers, serverless computing, and Kubernetes. The platform enables customers to detect and respond to security threats, allowing security and DevOps teams to strengthen their security and compliance policies across the entire container lifecycle.
