Trend Micro Issues Warning on Active In-the-Wild Zero-Day Attacks

Trend Micro has issued a warning about in-the-wild zero-day attacks targeting customers who use its Apex One and Apex One as a Service products.

Trend Micro surreptitiously issued updates for at least four reported vulnerabilities on July 28, along with a warning that threat actors are already launching attacks against two of the security flaws.

“Trend Micro has observed an active attempt of exploitation against two of these vulnerabilities (chained) in-the-wild (ITW) in a very limited number of instances, and we have been in contact with these customers already.  All customers are strongly encouraged to update to the latest versions as soon as possible,” the company said.
