UK Minister Says Cyber-attacks on COVID Responders to Continue

UK’s foreign minister Dominic Raab said cybercriminals are targeting national and international organizations that are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. These attacks are expected to be “dangerous and venal”. He added that attacks are intended to steal bulk personal data, intellectual property, and wider information. Last month, the US and Britain had issued a joint warning about cyberattacks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
