Dragos Denies Ransomware Gang’s Allegations of data breach

Industrial cybersecurity company Dragos denies allegations of a recent data breach by the ransomware group BlackCat and Alphv.

The cybercriminals threatened to expose executive data if Dragos did not respond within 24 hours. Dragos has initiated an investigation, but as of now, no evidence supports the hackers’ assertions.

This isn’t the first time such claims have been made against Dragos. In October, the RansomedVC operation made false statements about hacking Dragos, Accenture, and Colonial Pipeline. Dragos dismissed these as “obviously false.” While they did confirm a ransomware breach in May, it asserted the breach was limited.
