The Dutch police have taken down 15 DDoS services, also known as DDoS booters or DDoS stressors in a week. These websites allowed users to sign up and launch DDoS attacks against websites and other internet infrastructure. The police said they were supported by web hosting companies, domain registrars, Europol, Interpol, and the FBI. The names of the DDoS-for-hire websites were not revealed.
This was the most successful crackdown by the Dutch police against online DDoS service providers.
