As part of the January 2023 Security Patch Day, SAP released 12 new and updated security notes this week, including seven “hot news” notes that address critical-severity vulnerabilities.

The remaining three security notes are updates to those released in November and December 2022, while the remaining four security notes with the highest severity rating in SAP’s books—”hot news”—address vulnerabilities in Business Planning and Consolidation MS, BusinessObjects, and NetWeaver.

The most serious of the new notes fix a code injection flaw in the BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform and a SQL injection bug in Microsoft Business Planning and Consolidation.
