ID.me Bags _100 Million in Recent Funding Round

ID.me Inc., a digital identity network company, has recently joined the growing list of cyber-security industry after securing a $100 million in a Series C funding round. With this, the valuation of the firm becomes $1.5 billion.

Viking Global Investors led the Series C round alongside participation from Counterpoint Global (Morgan Stanley), Lead Edge Capital, BoxGroup, CapitalG, Willoughby Capital, PSP Growth, WndrCo, and Moonshots Capital. 

ID.me aims to utilize the funding to develop its secure digital identity network by engaging top talent. Furthermore, the company is expanding the number of government agencies and businesses it serves by serving with identity proofing, authentication, and group affiliation verification.
