Keeper Security Launches 24-Word Recovery Phrases to Enrich Account Security

The present user-customizable security question and answer recovery procedure replaces the 24-word recovery phrase. If a user forgets their master password, it acts as a break-glass technique to restore a Keeper Vault.

The recovery phrase develops a unique 256-bit AES key that decrypts a replica of the user’s 256-bit AES data key. The data key then decrypts each record key, which decrypts each vault record.
