Silence Laboratories announced that it has raised USD 4.1 million in a new funding round, bringing the total amount raised by the company to USD 6 million.
The investment was made by Pi Ventures, Kira Studio, and several angel investors. Founded in 2021, the Singapore-based company creates a cryptographic stack to provide developers with authentication and authorization capabilities. The solutions use multi-party computation (MPC) as cryptographic primitives and can help organizations keep sensitive data private and secure even when shared with others, according to the company.
According to Silence Laboratories, the Silent Shard authorization library, which supports fast key generation and signature distribution, can reduce the risk of private key exposure while also enabling advanced authorization rules. It is already used by multiple digital asset infrastructure and protocol companies.
