Spyderbat, a cloud-native runtime security firm, revealed this week that it has raised USD 10 million in Series A funding, bringing the company’s total capital to USD 14 million.

NTTVC led the investment round, including participation from Benhamou Global Ventures, LiveOak Venture Partners, and an angel investor. Spyderbat, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was founded in 2019 and provides a SaaS platform that provides enterprises with runtime insight across Kubernetes, container, and VM environments. Spyderbat’s technology also assists companies in understanding build runtime behavior and offers runtime intrusion prevention to protect against supply-chain assaults, compromised credentials, and malware.

The company intends to use the new funding to expedite product development and increase its market reach.
