The US Launched an Investigation Into the Kaseya Ransomware Outbreak as Gang Demands _70 M

If anyone wants to pay $70 million, the gang that utilized the REvil ransomware program to assault IT business Kaseya and its customers have given a universal decryption key.

The latest data encryption hack by REvil targets Kaseya, a well-known enterprise IT firm. The FBI blamed REvil for the ransomware attack on US meatpacker JBS last month.

Kaseya has acknowledged that its VSA solution, which is used to remotely monitor PCs, servers, printers, networks, and point-of-sale devices, was the target of an assault. Unfortunately, Kaseya’s VSA product was the target of a sophisticated hack.
