U.S. Offers 15 Million USD Bounty for Leaders of Conti Ransomware Gang

The United States Government is willing to pay up to 10 million USD for information leading to the identification and/or whereabouts of key leaders of the Conti ransomware gang.

The State Department is also paying up to 5 million USD for information leading to the “arrest and/or conviction of any individual in any country conspiring to participate in or attempt to participate in a Conti variant ransomware outbreak.”

The campaign, which is part of the State Department’s Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program (TOCRP), aims to deal a serious blow to the Conti ransomware organisation, which the Department claims has been involved for hundreds of ransomware outbreaks in the last two years.
