Bot and fraud-detection specialists White Ops has been bought by merchant banking division of Goldman Sachs in collaboration with investment from NightDragon and Clear Sky Security. The official details about the financial terms weren’t disclosed. The fraud detection organization is known for protecting online platforms and businesses against automated attacks and bots.

White Ops has said that its customer base has increased by forty percent in 2020. They plan to ramp up their services and expand into newer markets. Their Bot Mitigation Service was recently leveraged by Google, Facebook, and the FBI to stop a massive botnet 3ve. It was used for perpetuating click fraud and other malicious activities.
