Cyber Defense Group (CDG)—a leading cybersecurity company founded by Lou Rabon that provides trusted services to innovative, cloud-reliant companies—has hired Remington Winters as Senior Vice President of Security Engineering. In his new role with CDG, Winters will lead the organization’s efforts to further develop and build out next-generation solutions for security-conscious clients. Prior to joining CDG, Winters served as Vice President, Head of Information Security at Ticketmaster, where he built the department from scratch and worked closely with the associated teams to develop the initial design for mobile ticketing platform SafeTix. Winters also served as the Director of Security at Warner Brothers.

“CDG has built a name for itself as a different kind of security company,” says Winters. “It’s an exciting time here because we are building automation and machine learning to solve some of the difficult problems in information security, especially around program management. We’re working to build out customized tools for our clients that adapt to their environments and provide security at the highest level.”
