The November 2022 security updates for Android are rolling out this week and fix over 40 flaws, including numerous high-severity escalation of privilege bugs.

The “2022-11-01 patch level,” the first section of the update, fixes 17 security flaws, 12 of which could result in an escalation of privilege (EoP), three in a denial of service (DoS), and two in the disclosure of personal information. These are all critical flaws that affect Android 10 and newer releases.
