Juniper Networks has released more than two dozen security advisories informing customers about well over 100 vulnerabilities in its products, with the majority of the flaws affecting third-party components.

The company has released patches and mitigations for the vulnerabilities, the majority of which affect the Junos operating system. The most serious vulnerability appears to be CVE-2024-21591, which affects Junos OS on SRX series firewalls and EX series switches.

An unauthenticated network-based attacker can exploit the vulnerability to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition, execute arbitrary code, and gain root access to the targeted appliance.
