Last week, Juniper Networks issued 21 security advisories informing consumers of over 200 vulnerabilities impacting its devices. The products affected by the security flaws include Northstar Controller, Contrail Networking, Junos Space, and Junos OS (including on SRX, EX, PTX, QFX, and MX series devices).

Six high-severity vulnerabilities unique to Juniper products are covered by six advisories. A network attacker who is not authenticated can take advantage of all but one of these flaws to create a Denial of Service (DoS) situation.

The remaining vulnerability might give a local attacker with low privileges access to full control of the intended device. The advisories detail Junos OS problems of a medium severity. According to Juniper, it is not aware of any attacks that take advantage of these flaws.
