Expanse helps companies understand and protect their attack surface. The proposed acquisition of Expanse will allow Palo Alto Networks to see their organization in the same way an attacker does when probing for points of weakness.

The acquisition is expected to close by January 31, 2021, and is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
