Remote Code Execution Flaws in OMI and MSHTML Patched in Microsoft

Over 60 security fixes and upgrades have been provided by Microsoft, addressing concerns such as a remote code execution (RCE) flaw in MSHTML and other significant bugs. 

The newest batch of fixes from the Redmond behemoth, which are normally delivered on the second Tuesday of each month for Patch Tuesday, arrived recently. 

Azure Open Management Infrastructure, Office Excel, Word, Azure Sphere, PowerPoint, and Access; the kernel, Microsoft Windows DNS, Visual Studio, and BitLocker, among other products, are all affected by the September security update.

Microsoft announced on September 7 that a remote code execution issue in MSHTML had been discovered and was being exploited.
