‘TLStorm’ vulnerabilities in APC UPS Devices Threaten Critical Infrastructure-01

Critical security risk in the widely used ACP UPS devices is allowing for remote takeover. This allows malicious actors to cause business disruption, data loss and physical damage to critical infrastructure.

Researchers at Armis Research Labs found ‘TLStorm’ vulnerabilities in the APC Smart-UPS devices, valued at about 20 million deployments worldwide.

The risk for widespread disruption and damage in both the cyber and physical worlds is high if the vulnerabilities are exploited.
