As a result, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), and The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have handed out an alert for such emerging scams.
The threat actors are leveraging the rising public interest in COVID-19 vaccines, trapping victims to share personal information or send money.
