Attempting to log into online accounts using username and password combinations obtained from known data leaks or from dark web portals is known as a credential stuffing assault, also known as account cracking. Credential stuffing attacks, which rely on the fact that users frequently use the same login credentials for many accounts, frequently result in large money losses from fraudulent purchases, system outages, and remediation, as well as reputational harm.
