Security Researchers identified the Palo Alto firewall software vulnerability quartet

A group of Security researchers has disclosed the details of a series of flaws present in Palo Alto Networks firewall software that was claimed to be dealt with in September by the networking vendor.

The four vulnerabilities masked flaws in Palo Alto’s PAN-OS operating system were identified by security researchers at Positive Technologies (PT).

A widely-used enterprise-grade firewall, PAN-OS is the technology after Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation firewall (NGFW). The identified vulnerabilities have the potential to execute arbitrary OS command execution by authorized users, denial of service by an unauthorized user and unveiled cross-site scripting.
