SpecterOps Acquires USD 25 Million in Funding to Protect ID Attack Paths

SpecterOps, a Seattle-based startup developing technology to secure Microsoft’s Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD deployments, has secured a USD 25 million funding round to support its aggressive expansion plans.

The business claimed that Silicon Valley venture firm Decibel led the Series A investment.  Several well-known cybersecurity executives, including Kevin Mandia, the founder of Mandiant, and Jon Oberheide and Dug Song, the co-founders of Duo Security, contributed money to SpecterOps as well.

In the expanding field of attack surface management, which combines tools for continuous vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, red-teaming, and patch management, SpecterOps is a competitor.
