With the addition of USD 17.7 million from an insider funding round, Symmetry Systems has now raised more than USD 35 million in total.

Symmetry Systems plans to scale its AI-powered Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform with the help of the new investment. A zero trust data security architecture can be implemented, insider and third party risks can be addressed, security and privacy compliance audits can be made easier, and organisations can keep track of sensitive data.

The business has jumped on the artificial intelligence bandwagon and is developing an LLM-based natural language interface that will help even less technical users comprehend data-related risks and how those risks can be mitigated.
